Cooped Up Sustainable Face Mask

Why don’t chickens wear pants?

….Because their peckers are on their faces.

I have to credit my inspiration in choosing this whimsical 1930s reproduction fabric to my backyard chickens – Clementine, Penelope and Harriet all kept me sane during the quarantine. Each mask was hand sewn in San Diego, CA by Tina White, designer and leatherista of Hard To Kill custom leather goods. Give her a follow on Instagram (@htkleather)to scope out her vintage inspired handmade and painted unique leather creations.

When masks are no longer required, I still imagine ways I’ll make use of this one: Spray painting; refinishing old furniture; and, most appropriately, cleaning out the chicken coop.

Be kind to one another, practice random acts of kindness and keep each other safe.

All mask orders will be prioritized and ship within 48 hours.
